Who operates this website

This website is operated by Attieh & Chebli, an international law firm with offices in Beirut, Lebanon, and Houston, Texas. Contact details for both offices appear on the Contact page.

Information we collect

This website does not include a contact form, account system, or newsletter subscription. The firm receives information you choose to send directly—for example, by email or telephone. In that case, the firm receives whatever you include, typically your name, contact details, and the content of your message. If you allow optional analytics, limited usage information is also collected as described under Optional analytics below. As with any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may generate ordinary technical server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, as part of delivering the website. The firm does not use this technical information for marketing or profiling.

Cookies

Unless you allow optional analytics, this website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. It does not use advertising cookies.

Optional analytics

This website does not use analytics unless you allow them. Analytics are off when no current preference is stored. On the home page, the request appears after the introduction; on other pages, it appears without blocking access to the page. Your choice is remembered on your device for up to six months, after which you may be asked again.

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. It sets cookies on your device and assigns a randomly generated identifier so that repeat visits can be recognised. It records information such as the pages you view, the approximate region you visit from, the referring website, and general device and browser characteristics. This information is processed by Google to provide Analytics services to us and may be transferred outside your country, including to the United States.

We use this only to understand which of our legal resources are useful. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not combine it with any information you send us directly.

If you keep analytics off, no Google Analytics script is loaded, no Google Analytics cookie is set, and no identifier is created.

You can change your decision at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw your consent, analytics stop and the analytics cookies this website can remove are deleted. If you withdraw permission after analytics has loaded, the page reloads to complete the change. Analytics will remain off on that and subsequent pages unless you later allow it again. Analytics records already collected while consent was in force are not deleted by this action. We do not intentionally send your name or contact details to Google Analytics. Analytics records use identifiers such as a randomly generated client identifier stored on your device. If that identifier is deleted, we generally cannot determine which historical Analytics records relate to your browser. How information is used

Information sent directly to the firm by email or telephone is used to respond to you, to check for conflicts of interest, and to consider the matter you describe. The firm's email is hosted through Google Workspace.

Sharing

The firm does not sell personal information. Information you send is not shared with third parties except where necessary to respond to your inquiry — for example, an internal conflicts check — or where required by law.

Where information may be handled

Attieh & Chebli operates from both Beirut and Houston. Information you send to the firm may be accessible from either location.
